THERAPEUTIC INDICATION:
Ceftazidime injection is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria including pneumonia and other lower respiratory tract infections; meningitis and other brain and spinal cord infections; and abdominal, skin, blood, bone, joint, female genital tract, and urinary tract infections.
DIRECTION OF USE:
Dissolve the contents in Sterile Water for Injection IP. It is given by deep Intramuscular injection/slow Intravenous injection over 3 to 5 minutes or Intravenous infusion over up to 30 minutes. Effervescence may occur during the addition of Water for Injection IP. The reconstituted solution should be used immediately after preparation.

CAUTION: If any foreign particle is visible in the vial after dissolving the contents, please do not use the solution & ask for a replacement.|
